Namibia

Namibia is located in southern Africa on the west coast. It is home to some very interesting tribes of Africa like the Bushman and the Himba. Namibia offers interesting desert landscapes and queer yet gripping sights. Its national parks are home to lions, cheetahs, leopards, desert adapted elephants and rhinos. Leisure safaris let you explore the national parks at your own pace. Ancient rock engravings, ghost towns in the desert, coastal towns with German colonial time buildings are worth a visit. The haunting beauty of Skeleton Coast is not to be missed, especially if you are a person with a wild imagination! Its foggy, stormy rough coast is a place where you can see old shipwrecks half covered in sand and huge skeletons of whales! And you can also find interesting adapted flora and fauna along the coast! Spectacular activities like sand boarding against a backdrop of colourful sand dunes, hiking, surfing, quad biking and skydiving are offered in Namibia.

English is the official language of Namibia. Afrikaans and German are widely spoken, along with some indigenous languages.
