Q.2 Will Active Holiday Company cancellation charges change in case the event is cancelled on account of COVID 19? Open or Close

If the race does not take place as scheduled, Active Holiday Company will charge a nominal fee of Rs.7500 / AED 375 per runner, towards admin, currency fluctuation and other expenses. The policy on the race entry refund or transfer to 2021 will be as per the race organisers decision, if and when they announce an event cancellation.

Q.3 Will London Marathon 2020 be open to elite runners only? Open or Close

The Race Director of the Virgin Money London Marathon recently updated the international press & answered a number of questions about potential scenarios for the upcoming race. While his response to it being a possible 'elite only' race was widely reported in the media, according to the race organisers, this was only in response to a very specific question, and it is not the intended plan for October 4th.

Q.4 Will London Marathon take place on 4th October as scheduled? Open or Close

The event is being planned for the race to take place as scheduled, taking into consideration possible scenarios that may be enforced by the local government and / or other agencies on the event date. Given the months ahead, it is impossible for anyone to predict the restrictions on international travel, social-distancing etc. that may be applicable in October. However, their current plan is to have 40,000 runners on the course on race day.

Having done 52 marathons, this experience have been very unique and special in many ways. My first with Active Holiday
The stay at London, the location visit , the breakfast, the reception post completion and time to time help during stay by Gauri have been par excellence

The ah-ha moment on the trip

    1. The whole team waited at Waterloo station when i went to take a band aid at a medical store
    2. Post completion reception by Gauri inspite of the fact that I was the last finisher in the team
    3. The company given to my wife by Gauri is worth remembering .
    A wonderful experience
