Experience

Whether you consider yourself a beer lover or a beer snob, if you are a fan – you'll want to be on this trip. The history of beer dates back to the end of the Middle Ages when brewing beer was a privilege allowed only to a handful of institutions like monasteries and hospitals. On this tour, you will bike along the Salzach and Inn rivers heading to historic breweries located inside monasteries as well as a few private breweries. A guided tour in one of the breweries will take you through the art of brewing beer and its detailed history. Beer tasting at many places is an ‘included’ feature of this trip and you will be welcomed at several breweries with the freshest and coolest pint. From Austria, you will head to the German beer capital Munich where you will enjoy an evening out and if you are on one of our Oktoberfest tours, you can just hop on over to the venue to quench your thirst!
