Israel, the biblical Holy Land, is situated in the Middle East, on the Mediterranean Sea. From the sacred sites like the Temple Mount, Dome of the Rock shrine, Al-Aqsa Mosque and Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem’s Old City, to the exciting a wild nightlife of the modern Tel Aviv, Israel certainly has something to offer for every kind of tourist. Do not be misled by its diminutive size, for Israel has immense diverse beauty, and a plethora of sites where you can immerse yourself in the mysticism and the magic of Israel.

The religious and the intellectually inclined will find Israel to be a Mecca. The archaeological site, where the digging has been in progress since 1850, in the City of David,  Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Western Wall, a religious shrine, and the Israel Museum in Jerusalem, are a few of the must see sights in Israel. The lowest spot on earth and a health spa, the Dead Sea is something you just cannot miss if you are visiting Israel. Valley of Elah, where David fought the epic battle with Goliath, the Dan Region with the pulsing hub of Israeli culture, the Sea of Galilee, and the list just goes on from mountains to lush green plains to stark arid deserts. Israel has it all. Add to it water sports in Haifi and hiking and trekking in the many trails around Masada, the Snake Path and Nahal Iyyun Nature Reserve, Israel indeed is a complete package.
