March brings with it the unique opportunity to combine the Jerusalem Marathon with the chance to explore a very ancient city in a new way!

Soak in the rugged beauty that surrounds historic Jerusalem, sample the food and mingle with the locals. Get yourself a new profile picture floating in the dead-sea after you’ve enjoyed the energy of Jerusalem city on race-day. Run with people from all over the world at that will take you past fascinating historical sites that illuminate 3,000 years of the history of Jerusalem combining exquisite landscapes, fresh mountain air and unique culture.

The Jerusalem Marathon course is Association of International Marathons (AIMS) approved and the race offers distance of the marathon (42.2 km), half-marathon (21.1 km), and 10 km.

Day 1
Day 1: Tel Aviv - Jerusalem Open or Close

Land in Tel Aviv airport and transfer to Jerusalem.
You have the rest of the day to explore this 3,000-year-old city. No matter how much you read or learn about Jerusalem there’s always more and more the world keeps discovering. There is truly no other place in the world like Jerusalem a city that has given birth to religions and legends.
Later in the evening visit the Expo to collect your running kit and bib.

Day 2
Day 2: Race Day Open or Close

Finally it is race day! Enjoy the energy of the event as you run this historical race. The International Jerusalem Winner Marathon will take you on a personal journey through Jerusalem's unique history, religion and culture. You’ll pass by Bezalel Junction Ben-Zvi Boulevard, Highway 1 statue near the water point, Plomer Square, Mishkenot Sha'ananim, Oranim Junction, Hamashbir plaza on King George Street, the entrance to the University of Mount Scopus, Armon Hanatziv, the Governor's Palace, Jaffa Gate, Cinematheque Bridge, Safra Square, the Railway Complex, Emek Refaim. This is not a race to set your PB – enjoy the route and soak in the atmosphere.
Later in the afternoon, we take a celebratory trip to Machane Yehuda Market. Around since the early 1900s, this market stocks everything from clothes to food and some of these shops are run by the third generation of the same family. You are free to wander around and explore this fascinating place on your own. Consider lunch at one of the many food stalls.

Day 3
Day 3: Day trip - Dead Sea Open or Close

You will be picked up from your hotel in Jerusalem for an all-day trip to the Dead Sea.
Enjoy a therapeutic swim in the Dead Sea, cover yourselves in the iconic black mud and admire the reflection of the mountains of Moab in the still waters of the Dead Sea. The water is almost 35% salt and even those who cannot swim can float.
At the end of the day you will be transferred back to your hotel in Jerusalem.

Day 4
Day 4: Jerusalem - Departure Open or Close

Check-out of your hotel and transfer to Tel Aviv airport for your flight back home.
